I. Features of Our Office
The name “Victoria” in our office’s title was inspired by Queen Victoria, who reigned during Britain’s golden age in the latter half of the 19th century. Queen Victoria ascended the throne at 18 and ruled the United Kingdom for 64 years.
Our representative spent four years living in London, during which time I improved my English, studied French cuisine, and refined my aesthetic sense by visiting museums and galleries daily. During my stay, I came to appreciate how the Victorian era brought significant changes in society, politics, economy, and culture, and developed great admiration for Queen Victoria, who built an era of peace and prosperity.
When establishing this office, I chose the name “Victoria” to reflect my aspiration to contribute, even modestly, to building a better society inspired by that ideal age and its remarkable figure.
Our office listens sincerely to clients’ requests and strives to contribute to their continued success.
Your “Go-To” Advisor
We aim to be approachable Certified Administrative Procedures Legal Specialists whom you can consult casually for any administrative matter. We stay up to date with current regulations and, when necessary, collaborate with other professionals to respond appropriately.
Embracing Diversity
We welcome consultations in English. Duringmy stay in cosmopolitan London, our representative interacted with people from many nations at language and culinary schools. This experience fostered an appreciation for cultural diversity and an openness to different ways of thinking. Our office values diversity and approaches all clients with cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness.
Wholehearted Service
Japan has long valued the spirit of omotenashi—heartfelt hospitality. Located in Kyoto, a city where traditions breathe even today, our office inherits that spirit. Having lived in Kyoto for generations (about 200 years), we are inspired by the local artisans whose meticulous craftsmanship embodies sincerity and dedication. We bring the same spirit to our work.
Continual Professional Development
Our representative holds degrees in law from Doshisha University and its Graduate School of Law, mastering not only Japan’s six major codes (Constitution, Civil Law, Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Civil Procedure, and Criminal Procedure) but also International Private Law and Anglo-American Law. I continue to gain practical experience in areas such as residence status applications, construction business permits, and industrial waste management procedures, ensuring clients always receive the most up-to-date legal information.
